Pristine beaches, fantastic weather, culturally vibrant: we know what we love about Newcastle and introducing new people to its delights is just one part of what we love about our job. For eight years, the team at Solid Property Services has been helping those new to town and long-time locals into new homes, rental accommodation and with investment choices.
The company started out as the brain-child of enterprising Novocastrian, Peter Aloupis. Having spent years learning the real estate trade under some of Newcastle’s most respected agencies, he decided it was time to set to work creating an independent real estate agent. His vision was simple: a small tight-knit team focusing on being the best, not the biggest at what they do.
Starting out in a one-room office in Broadmeadow in 2001, Peter used his experience in property development and projects to develop a wide client base, as well as handling the business of past clients. Pretty soon, his services were in hot demand as a property manager, too.
Three years later, with business expanding quickly, Solid was looking for a bigger space and better exposure, and so re-located to their current office in energetic Darby Street, Cooks Hill. The new offices needed some fresh faces and so adept property manager Belinda Hopkins and veteran salesperson Chris White were recruited and the team was complete.
Never shifting from the original philosophy, it has been Solid Property Service’s honesty, focus and real commitment to real estate that has seen the company grow from strength to strength and develop the quality that clients have come to expect.
